MOTHERS ARE PRICELESS!

"Who can find a virtuous woman? For
her price is far above rubies." Prov. 31:10

Last Sunday, we set aside a day to honor our Mothers, who God has created to bring us into this world, and to be by our side as we grow into adulthood. God in His infinite wisdom and design, placed our dependent little lives into the arms of a Mother, whom He has given natural instincts to love and protect. In Prov. 31, God gives us a blueprint on what a godly Mother is to be like. Unfortunately, many ladies have probably never read or even knew that God set aside a chapter to instruct and guide a young girl into the proper ways that will bring happiness and praise to her. Prov. 31:28, "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her." I wonder how many Mothers would love to hear praise from their husbands and children. We live in a nation that has belittled and ridiculed the God-given role of being a godly and virtuous lady. So many women would love to be treated like a Queen, but have been raised to act like a King!! Young girls have lost their femininity, and are now more proud to wear a hardhat than a dress. Homes have buckled to society's demands to have inflated-priced clothing, and relentless schedules of activities, at the expense of a mother's presence. The Bible tells us that in the last days, before Christ returns, that it will be a day of unnatural affections. Mothers are aborting their babies at the unbelievable rate of 4,000 precious, and innocent, lives a day!! Let's repent and ask God to have mercy on this nation, and start placing a clear distinction between the sexes. Thank you, Mothers, who have refused to waiver from the awesome responsibility of raising your children, in the fear of the Lord.
