WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED?

Great Landings Are Not By Accident!
Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

One doesn't have to be an Einstein to know that many homes are not where they are by God's design or even their own. How does a life get in such a mess? And where are we going to land? Say you were going to fly from St. Louis, MO to Los Angeles, CA and your pilot announced that you were in the air and doing great but were a mere 2 degrees off course. Since it is so minor, why bother to correct? So he chose to disregard it. In the short haul it seems insignificant. One can hardly notice the first 100 miles. But over the long haul, you will find that you are far from where you planned to be. You see, life with a little disobedience, a little rebellion, a little bad attitude, or a little laziness, all adds up to a lot of unwelcome turbulence, not to say, a sure crash landing. Prov. 13:5, "...but the way of the transgressor is hard." God desires to be the pilot of our life. Why? Because He has an expected end. Jer. 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of PEACE, and not evil, to give you an EXPECTED END." How does your life line up to the Scriptures? Is Jesus the pilot of your life? To live your life without God's plan and direction is like a bow hunter shooting his arrow into the air and hoping a deer runs under it. Don't trust foolish luck. Set your sights on the cross, and you're sure to hit heaven!
