REASONS TO BELIEVE!!

"...God was manifest in the
flesh." 1 Tim. 3:16

Isn't it wonderful to witness the various ways that the birth of Jesus is confirmed? The Word of God so clearly teaches us that Jesus is God, the Son of God, the second person of God, in the blessed Trinity. The gospel of John starts out in vs. 1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Not a god, but God! Then vs. 3 says, "all things were made by him...," then vs. 14 goes on to say, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." Over in Jn 14:9, Jesus said, "...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father:" We also know that by the acts of telling people that by faith in Him their sins are forgiven, that He was claiming to be God, since only God has the power and authority to forgive sins. Lk. 7:50, "And he said to the women, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace." How about King Herod! He sure took the news of this little baby seriously. Why was this powerful dictator so shook of the news of a baby being born a King? Maybe the orchestration of God's universe, as the Wise men were lead by a star and the Angels were praising the baby Jesus. Matt. 2:10, "When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy." Or maybe it's His mercy and grace he shows in filling the bank accounts of those who curse Him all year long, but jump on the commercial bandwagon to profit from His name. Yes, James 2:19 tells us the devils believe in one God! Many evidences, yet few receive Him as Savior! Won't you? God bless.
