WAIT FOR ME......!

"Until I went into the sanctuary of God;
then understood I their END." Ps. 73:17

I'm sure by now you have come to the realization that most of America is in the "FAST LANE" of life, with our blinkers on, looking for an EXIT! We don't know who we are following, nor why there's so many following us; but we sure don't want to be left behind. At least I don't have to think, and surely this many people couldn't be wrong!! About two years ago my wife and I were coming back from Keokuk, when up ahead I saw three deer running down a wooded fence row toward the interstate. I had plenty of time to slow down and watch as they darted across our lane, heading for the other lane of oncoming traffic. I saw a semi coming, and could tell that they had time to get across. About that time, here came a fourth deer, running late, but determined not to be left behind. As he raced across our lane, I could tell that he was in perfect timing to collide with the semi. As I watched this deer, you could tell that the adrenaline was pumping, and that his mind was set on following the other three. This deer was so set on acceptance, and following the "gang", that it blinded his thinking and judgement. He ran right into this semi, and exploded into an unbelievable "road kill". As I watched this, I told my wife that this deer is just like so many people. They are so wrapped up in following the "crowd", that they don't even realize that they're on a collision course. Matt. 7:13 says, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for WIDE is the gate, and BROAD is the way, that leadeth to DESTRUCTION, and MANY there be which go in thereat:" There is an exit, it is called Jesus, and He will set you free before it's too late.
